Had a person review my music and ask me what genres I thought it was. I told him to wait until I played my set then he could tell me what genres he thought it was. After the set he smiled and said I don't know what genres it is. Then he told me I sound like a hillbilly on acid. I told him I would take that but I like all genres of music and I don't want to be stuck in one genres. I like to think I do some of my music outside of the box.

''I'd Like To Thank You'' is a song a lot of people can relate to. We've all been lied to and hurt by friends and family. ''Its Not About the Glory'' Is how I feel about music and musicians. I'm sure some people do it for the money but its about the peace it brigs me. ''Peace and Love'' Is a song about how the world is slowly falling apart and I wanted to spot light some of my hero's. ''Talking to My Monkey'' is not about me. This old world has a drug problem that is crippling all of us in one way or another. I pray for healing . ''A Part of Growing Up '' is just a reminder that we all make mistakes. Hopefully we learn from them and get smarter. ''I Miss My Youth'' is another personal song. Getting older is not the problem . Its all the health issues and losing so many friends. Sad to see so many leaving this world.

I did this 6 pack CD in a modern country style with my own twist

I wrote the lyrics for this CD with my mother and my family in mind. My mother was one of the best country music singer and picker I ever knew. I write most of my songs from the heart and my life lessons but sometimes just for fun. I'm am so blessed to have met so many people in the music world. I was a rock-n-roll fan most of my life but always loved Mo Town and some of the hard rockers as well as Blues and Jazz. This CD I did in my own style but wanted it to have a little touch country in it. As I get older and my times is running out my hopes for my music is that it may bring some peace to someone's heart. I hope it is a healing power for someone struggling with depression or anxieties. .
